The end-grain cutting surface on this hard maple (Acer saccharum) cutting board is gentle on your knives while offering exceptional resistance to daily wear.
Each cutting board is handmade and unique, with every piece showing its own distinct grain pattern. The naturally dense maple hardwood provides long-lasting strength and features a warm blond colour.
Every board comes with a tin of Rogue Wood board butter, to help you keep your board in pristine condition.

I was delighted to receive my maple cutting board from Niels. The board is obviously made with care and attention, with a beautiful finish. It arrived packaged very nicely with plenty of wood conditioner on it, and came with a tin of board butter which was a great touch to help with the longevity of the board. It is sturdy without being cumbersome and now occupies a favoured place among my kitchen every-day staples. From reading about Niels on his website, to contacting him directly, the whole process felt personal and full of care. I am delighted to support a small local producer like this rather than a large mass-produced company. My cutting board came with a story behind it, and now I hope to add to its story for many years to come!
