- names
- phone numbers
- email addresses

We never see or store it. You may find their privacy notice link here: https://www.mollie.com/legal/privacy.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected
In Short: Some information, such as browser and device characteristics, is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, your approximate country, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
We collect our website statistics without cookies or any other information stored on your device. Your IP address is only used briefly to determine your approximate country and to create an anonymous visitor ID that changes every day; it is not stored with the statistics.
We also use a few cookies, as described in section 5.
The information we collect includes:
- Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services. Depending on how you interact with us, this data may include your IP address, which our hosting provider may keep for a short time in technical logs for security, browser type, and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages viewed, and other actions you take such as adding a product to your cart or the steps you take at checkout), and the loading speed of the pages.
- Device Data. We collect device data such as the type of device, operating system, and browser you use to access the Services, and your language.
- Location Data. We only collect your approximate country, which is derived from your IP address. We do not collect your precise location.
2. How do we process your information?
In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.
- To send you information about your order. We may process your information to send you your order confirmation and shipping updates.
- To fulfil and manage your orders. We may process your information to fulfil and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Services.
- To request and publish reviews. After your order has been delivered, we may email you once to ask for a review of the products you bought. If you write one, the name you enter, your rating, and your review are shown on the product page, marked as a verified buyer.
- To evaluate and improve our Services. We may process the information described in Information automatically collected to understand how our Services are used and to improve them.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, only with your consent. When you arrive through one of our ads, the link contains an ID of your click on that ad. If you click 'Accept' in the cookie banner, that ID is stored in a cookie on your device. If you then place an order, the click ID is sent together with the order number, order value, and time to the advertising platform you came from, so we know which ads lead to orders. Your name, email address, and address are not shared, and the data may not be used to show you personalised ads.
- To comply with our legal obligations. We may process your information to keep the records that tax and accounting law require.
- To save or protect an individual's vital interest. We may process your information when necessary to save or protect an individual's vital interest, such as to prevent harm.
3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?
In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e. legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfil our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfil our legitimate business interests.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on in order to process your personal information. As such, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
- Consent. We may process your information if you have given us permission (i.e. consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose, such as measuring the effectiveness of our advertising or publishing your review. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Learn more about withdrawing your consent.
- Performance of a Contract. We may process your personal information when we believe it is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, including providing our Services or at your request prior to entering into a contract with you.
- Legitimate Interests. We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests, unless your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms override those interests. For example, we may process your personal information to understand how our Services are used so we can improve them, to keep our Services secure, to respond to your inquiries, and to ask you for a review after your order.
- Legal Obligations. We may process your information where we believe it is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, such as to keep the records that tax and accounting law require, to cooperate with a law enforcement body or regulatory agency, exercise or defend our legal rights, or disclose your information as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
- Vital Interests. We may process your information where we believe it is necessary to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of a third party, such as situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person.
4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following categories of third parties.
Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct.
The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:
- Ad Networks, only with your consent (currently Google Ads, by Google Ireland Limited)
- Data Analytics Services
- Email Delivery Services
- Finance & Accounting Tools
- Government Entities
- Payment Processors
- Performance Monitoring Tools
- Shipping Companies
- Website Hosting Service Providers
Some of these third parties are based in the United States. Where your personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
In Short: We use a few cookies, most of which are necessary for our Services to work. A cookie to measure the effectiveness of our advertising is only used with your consent.
We use the following cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cart_id | Remembers your shopping cart, once you add a product | Until you close your browser |
| region_id | Shows the right prices and shipping options | Until you close your browser |
| preferred_locale | Remembers your language | Until you close your browser |
| marketing_consent | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner | 6 months |
| ad_click | The ID of your ad click, only if you clicked 'Accept' | 90 days |
The first four are necessary for our Services to work and to remember your choice, so they don't require your consent. The cookie banner is only shown when you arrive through one of our ads, and you can change your choice at any time through 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of every page.
We do not use web beacons or pixels, and we do not permit third parties to use online tracking technologies on our Services or to use information from our Services to tailor advertisements to your interests.
6. How long do we keep your information?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). In particular:
- If you don't complete your order, the details you entered are kept with your shopping cart, so you can continue later. They are deleted after 90 days without activity.
- Website statistics are deleted after at most one year.
- Reviews stay on our website until you ask us to remove them.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
7. How do we keep your information safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
8. Do we collect information from minors?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at privacy@roguewood.pt.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
11. Do we make updates to this notice?
